In 2013 I&SI was awarded a large contract from an Institutional Client (confidential) aimed at strengthening the security of country borders, ports, airports and other critical infrastructures.
I&SI winning solution was based on the following main items:
- Mobile X-Ray screening solutions for parcels, cargo and vehicles inspection
- CX Mobile G3 high-energy transmission scanner (from L-3)
- Z Backscatter VANs (from AS&E)
- FEP ME 975, mobile parcels inspection (from Gilardoni)
- Wide area Communication System:
- SAT multisite system
- VHF system
- 3000 Sq m steel hangar with workshop and offices
- Training on security for more than 200 Officers of the Client
