Threats have changed from the period when Oil & Gas security systems has been originally designed and deployed. Most of the existing equipment and investments are good and will be integrated in the new global security system. The existing sites protection system will be enhanced to be more operational and efficient in case of incident. Regarding the areas where nothing was necessary few years ago (such as border approaches or waterside), we will propose solutions and integrate them to the existing communication networks and coordination centres

- Be realistic and design a reasonable and field proven solution in line with the level of threat
- Propose high quality equipment to be robust enough against extreme environments
- Integrate the sub-systems together to be operational, efficient and easy to use
- Improve automatism of alarms coming from radars, video, detection cables, on a common picture
- Design a system which can be easily and locally maintained and able to evolve or to be extended
- Submit security organization propositions

- Specifically adapted to each site in order to reduce significantly false alarms,
- Fully integrated into a Control Room per site and able to be integrated at a higher level
- Able to evolve without replacing the equipment
